Just curious.

How many of the games that are planned this many years in advance actually happen?

Most OOC games are scheduled years in advance.

And yes, its a home/home

(2005) Ohio State 34-20
(1996) Ohio State 29-16
(1995) Ohio State 45-26

Hell, by 2022 could this be a leauge game? Notre Dame should be in the B1G.

See I can play this silly game as well....

Ohio State should actually be independent in football. But I suppose they prefer letting programs such as Illinois and Maryland leach off their successes. Keep the Michigan game and go Indy - who cares about the rest of that shitty conference schedule.

With that said, ND will be joining the ACC, IF/WHEN they *need* to join a conference.

joining the B1G is actually insulting - I see few redeeming qualities about that conference (inb4 TV dollars)

Every year Ohio State is going to have to battle the negative perception of that shitty conference. They have no margin for error.

As if the ACC is that much better?

It's always funny when Notre Dame fans think they are relevant.

It's more about maintaining a national recruiting footprint.

Joining the B1G regionalizes the program. In a state with no home talent, it just makes little sense

playing in a conference is much better than being independent. ND needs to grow a pair and join a conference...see what its like to have games that mean something. I don't care what ND people think but when ND plays Mich, USC, or Mich St all those teams have 8-9 more games on their schedule that are more meaningful than ND.

Pretty awesome timing by Jack with the announcement after Hoke's "chickening out" comment last year. Schedule their biggest rival who's been way more successful the past 10+ years. Funny stuff.

I usually never get very excited when non-conference games are announced because they're always so far in advance that it's not worth thinking about much, but I'm very pumped for this one.

Being independent is much better then being in a conference.

Why any program would deliberately chose to regionalize themselves in 2014 is just backwards thinking.

Eight or nine conference games are more meaningful for those teams than ND? Tell that to Dantonio after last season.

What happens when the B1G and the SEC decide the ACC isnt going to exist anymore?
