I had to pain roll our backyard fence recently. It took me several hours and I could ring out my clothes afterwards. Just covered in sweat.

Imagine having to paint roll an arena. Jesus.

I am withholding judgement until it is completed, but I am afraid in just a few years it will look like a modern soviet style arena with a new atrium, but it will still be an improvement.

Agreed. I'm envisioning the grey looking bland as hell, but anything is better than what it was.

Apparently, in the next phase the arena will be getting lights similar to the superdome. The article mentions a reason they chose this particular color is because of the way the LED lights show up.

I'm sure it will look cool but drivers will be distracted as all get out between the dome lights, arena lights, and two huge arse HD video boards on the arena.
