So you're saying a sponsored tailgate designed for marketing/business development purposes with a controlled number people did better than the Houston Alumni Association?
A group of for-profit businesses who handle large crowds daily managed to pull off an event better than a volunteer group leading a non-profit?

Houston Tailgate dude said that the Houston LSU Alumni Assoc. is a business/profit, not non profit.

Why are they filing 990's then as a non profit? Regardless, the point was I'd expect the group of people listed in the OP to handle a controlled invite list.

I tailgated here as well. The food was so good. I must have had 50 fried boudin balls. Beer was good. Lines moved fast. I didn't care about TV's. I was too drunk. Awesome tailgate.
