If you had to guess, what time is the LSU/Auburn game going to be?

Making some travel plans and don't want to schedule a flight during the game.

Impossible to say right now. UT/UF, A&M/MSU, and Bama/OM are all that week. If LSU and Auburn are both undefeated then 230 lock.

2:30 seems like the best guess, but hard to say for sure. CBS has the first choice for their 2:30 slot, and LSU-Auburn looks like the best pick right now.

That's a lock for the 230 CBS game.

Bama/OM will not trump LSU and the defending SEC champs for the 230 game.

LSU and Auburn have national appeal and will generate ratings and so does A&M and obviously Bama. The Mississippi schools do not. Miss St has not had a winning SEC record since 1999 and Ole Miss last won the SEC over 50 years ago.

If LSU and Auburn are both undefeated they will be in the top 10 and you can bet that they will be in the 2:30 CBS slot.

I honestly think night game. Aleva has pushed for night games with the networks. If Bama and Ole Miss are undefeated I think they get 2:30. Too much chance of an upset of the media darling to pass on it.

I would say they'd want another game for 2:30 and keep a death valley Saturday night for prime time

Not sure if this is still the rule, but under the old contract, each team was only allowed to be on CBS a certain number of times. If I were Alleva, I'd want most of those CBS appearances to be on the road, at 2:30 (except Bama at home, which should be at night). That gives us a better chance of having more night games at home.
