So the fantasy gods have smiled upon me and granted me the #1 overall pick in both of my fantasy leagues.

I drafted J. Charles with my first pick in one league, another league drafts tonite.

I'm looking for some advice / analysis on diversifying my picks between my two leagues (tried google to no avail). Im leaning towards taking shady with my first pick tonite to spread out my injury risk, but I'm also interested to see what the pros think about having lower pick guys on multiple teams.

Both leagues are money leagues, so its worth my time to get it right.

I dont like putting my eggs in the same basket in the first few rounds... You have to get big numbers from those guys to compete, and if you lose "that guy" across multiple leagues, your fantasy season becomes a lot less enjoyable

Yeah, you need to spread your wealth...or you will have none.

I take the best available player on my board. If I so happen to end up with a particular player(s) in multiple leagues, so be it. That doesn't usually bother me. I've ended up with Ball, Vereen, and Rice in more than half my leagues. I have Romo in two and Foles in two others. My WRs and TEs are all of the place in each league though. I have no complaints.

If you believe the value of the players are similar then diversify. For instance I believe that Charles and McCoy are valued the same, so if I was in your situation I'd diversify my picks. If you felt that one was valued lower, then just pick who you feel has the most value.
