I'm leaning towards rollerball from the film of the same name(1975 version, not 2002).

BASEketball might be second.

I think Dodgeball would be a candidate, because, although not strictly fictional, a professional version is.

Anything else worth considering?

Not exactly a sport, but it is a competition that results in a winner.

Battle Royale.

While the movie sucked as a whole, I thought pod racing was pretty fricking sweet. The one bright spot in an otherwise terrible film.

That's just racing though. You can really fill that void with any vehicle in existence. We race everything.

Looks like they have been around or at least copyrighted themselves in 2007

While not a sport, I believe this frequently makes lists of best fictional/made up games in television and film.

Actually adlibbed by Bill Shatner, yet another reason his role as Kirk was iconic and irrepleacable.

Real Steel
Tron had some sports, particularly the cool cycle racing.
Blernsball from Futurama.

A lot of votes for BASEketball - doing better than I expected.

Another one from Matt and Trey - Sarcastaball from Season 16 of South Park.

Jugging from The Blood of Heroes is the only answer.

The ball is a severed dog head, for fricks sake. What else do you need?

It's a game AND a sport!

(99% of the time, the person teaching Fisbinn is the winner.)

I appreciate this perspective on Fizzbin - I shall give further consideration of it as a sport.
