All you old timers. What was your best Warehouse concert. Mine was Jethro Tull Aqualung tour 1971.

The Warehouse was before my time, but i'd give a nut to have seen The Stooges/MC5/Alice Cooper on Sept. 19th, 1970....

And the other nut for Muddy Waters/Albert King/Lightnin' Hopkins/Johnny Shines on April 10th, 1975.

I remember seeing some relatively minor acts there, but the Clash and the B-52's where the only "biggies."

For those unfamiliar with the role the Warehouse played in rock history, and what the live music scene was like back in the day, here is a list of the warehouse concerts.

I know which one was the worst- The 'fake' Fleetwood Mac back in the early 70's. Kind of hard to watch a fake group that only played 3 or 4 Mac songs to begin with! That being said, it was the re-opening of the Warehouse, so everyone was too stoned to notice until the next day!

Several weeks ago someone linked to an ABB concert on 9-16-1971, a few weeks before Duane's death. The sound quality isn't very impressive, but the Brothers are on fricking point. Two and a half hours of tasty jamz.

Obviously not the best, but I saw a documentary a while back about the doors playing there in December 1970, I believe. Jim was extremely drunk and high on opium. It was the last concert they ever performed together.

In my mind, that's a pretty significant concert.

I only saw two shows at the Warehouse. Ted Nugent and Nazareth was one show, and the other was Journey, Ronnie Montrose and Van Halen. I was absolutely blown away by Van Halen who had just released their first album. Eddie Van Halen set the bar too high that night for Neil Schon or Ronnie Montrose, and David Lee Roth was more to my liking than Steve Perry.
