Sporting KC Discussion Thread

Realized that there are more SKC fans than there used to be on this board and it would be cool to have a place to discuss them rather than just in the random game thread.
I've been at just about every home game this summer (minus the LAG game) and am kinda glad they are on the road for a while. They need to get their form back and should be easier for them to do it on the road since teams play more open against us.
But man, the last two weeks have sucked. The game Friday was unique with the 77-minute rain delay, but it really didn't seem all that long being in the Cauldron and singing that whole time, which was really damn fun honestly.
We need Paulo Nagamura back ASAP and hopefully Jorge Claros can get adjusted to the team ASAP as well, because the midfield is where we have really struggled recently. There, and Aurellien Collin has been in piss poor form... We will see what happens though.

Also, as much as I miss Uri, it is cool to see him playing at Sporting CP. He's played in all three games this year for them, started one, and made a late appearance today against Benfica. Hope he continues doing well.

Ain't that the truth. The DC United win yesterday didn't help the standings either.
But there are a lot of matches left and SKC will end up well in the end.

My youngest son is a fan.
My wife and kids got a behind the scenes tour of the facility and locker room. The kids were very impressed with the Ferrari leather seats.
Also the amount of technology used to gauge player effort was interesting. Computer chips in shoes that calculate acceleration, stopping, cutting etc. lets the coach have a calculated number that represents effort for halftime.

Thanks for sharing. The facilities at Sporting Park are class. Game atmosphere is awesome.
