Seemed like we got pretty good pressure during passing plays but still have issues actually getting sacks.

whats the deal?

Front 4 not getting pressure.
Didn't last year, seems picked up where they left off.

I miss Mingo and Montegomery

But I think we'll see progression as the season goes on

From what I could tell, the defensive ends were doing pretty decently getting up field, but the defensive tackles were struggling to get any push up the middle. This opened up gaps that the Whisky QB easily stepped up and slid through.

Uh, we got a ton of pressure last night when they did throw, their QB would just chunk the ball away into no man's land whenever he was faced with a rush. Most experienced QB's would take the sack. If we were facing a team like Florida or Arkansas, we'd of had 3-4 sacks.

We nearly sacked him several times, but he is elusive and big so they couldn't quite bring him down.

Wisc QB was very quick in throwing the ball under pressure. Both INTs were bc of pressure. Several wounded ducks bc of pressure.

Also refs were letting them play last night (both sides). There was a lot of grabbing and holding that was let go.
