ASUS, Acer, and Toshiba generally dominate the low-end market, especially if you're looking at retail brick-and-mortar selections. I wouldn't call any brand (ASUS, Acer, Dell, HP, Toshiba, Lenovo, etc.) better than another. It's all the same stuff internally, and the chassis are pretty much all built by Quanta.
What are you going to use it for?
