LF7 certainly looked like a freshman at times HOWEVER, if you couldn't tell he is a special RB, you weren't watching.

Take nothing away Hilliard but some of the runs he made in the second half would have been TD's if it were LF7 were in on those plays Imo.

We will see.... i still think he far from suspect.

Other notes

Our DL was most disappointing as a unit.

Our Receiving corps does have potential to be better than last year ...and thats saying a lot.

Qb play still the key to the future

DBU is alive and well

Kwon is a beast

Lf7 was nervous as heck and very tentative. He'll get there, but the kid is under tremendous pressure.

Fournette looked pretty average to me

It's mental though, but that's what you get when a player overhypes hinself in his mind

Alexander went in to absolute beast mode once he had that jawing session with the Wisconsin player at the goal line after that last touchdown of theirs. He became an animal after that.

trying to fight off three tacklers at the LOS makes one look average, I agree.

What other than his reputation would make you say this?

He was swarmed when he got the ball... But on his chances to just gash through the hole, he didn't and just waited to long for anything to open up.

DL played with only 3 DTs, one coming off a bicep injury, and one coming off an ACL injury. They did pretty damn good considering that.

LF7 has never hyped himself, everyone else has. O line did not open holes for nearly 3 quarters, then Hilliard got all the carries. Magee who is a good back got nothing yesterday. LF7 was your leading rusher in the first half (doesn't say much about offense performance)despite poor OLine play.

I definitely agree that the offensive line didn't give him much to work with when he was in, but there was nothing he did last night (including kick offs) that would make me think he was special.

Obviously I think he's going to be a very, very good RB for us, he just didn't show anything last night.

I don't remember see LF7 make a cut all night. Just downhill run till he gets hit.

Had Jennings thrown a better pitch Fournette's numbers would look a lot better with a possible TD also. He had a good bit of running room ahead of him when they ran the old Keiland Williams toss.

I thought Goudeaux looked real good, considering his is a true freshman - he may be a star in the making. Physically, he has it. Hopefully he'll continue to progress and become the DL playmaker we've been missing.

Fournette will house a kickoff in the next two weeks. Write it down.
