Was happy that he put the team on his back and gave them a boost. looking forward to him getting a lot of carries this year.

Looks like he is in better "football shape" than the past couple years....

Thanks to the OL for opening those holes.
Any of our backs would have gotten those yards

he's been slimmed down for a while now
Kenny Hilliard has always been good. I hate that people think he became this over night. He's just rarely ever gotten a full load of carries.
he came into this season, for his career, with 21 TDs and over 5.0 YPC. come the frick on

How about them open gaps/holes created by the OL?

I hope he is the work horse this yr. Terrance can be the change of pace guy and Fournette can have fresh legs late in games if/when we need him!
Unfortunately this means only 3 heismans for Buga

Like I said in the game thread, that's the fastest he's ever looked last night. Damn quick for his size. Reminds me of Charles Scott.

In the post game interview, he talked about making smart choices in what he ate and sticking to it. He talked about cutting out the late night food. He has his eyes on his Sr performance and next April's draft. He be serious, folks. Serious.

Yeah, they were huge in the first half. Unfortunately, they were filled by additional badgers before KH could get there. The second half was different because Wisconsin's defensive line got injured without effective backups and their defense ran out of gas. The win is great but lets not sugar coat it. Our veteran o-line is unfortunately the biggest concern that I see right now.

Hey... I have always thought he was a great back. Just not used enough.... He will be a beast this year AND TAKE carries away from LF...FACT...........

Did u pay no mind to the fact the we ran most of our plays in the first 3 qtrs out of a single wide set? Wisky had 9 guys in the box all night. Those plays are dead before they start. We had success in the 4th bc we ran out of 3 wide sets which finally gave the oline a friggin chance. Sure we wore them out too, but we could have had a lot more success running early on if we spread their D out more. Give the oline some credit

Agreed. Hill got in the way of his carries but KH has always been solid.

I paid mind to it and that we didn't do anything to adjust to it. The o-line did improve in the second half but some of our improvement was also due to the better calling and execution of passes that would force the UW defense to pull back from rushing 9. The injuries to two key defensive linemen didn't hurt us as well. Yes, the o-line deserves some credit and they showed great potential but lets not make it out to be more than it was. I am just glad that we have a couple of tune-up games before Miss St and then another one before AU.
