Very proud of the Tigers for roaring back the way they did. I am also concerned that what was thought to be the strength of team was not in a big game. Hopefully it can be corrected.

The defensive shifting and stunts threw them off.

It was interesting to watch their dts grab our lineman preventing next level blocks on the backers.

The second half was improved and I think we will get better as the year goes on.

Agreed, This was the biggest disappointment of the night. I think they'll get better and they absolutely need to. The young studs behind them need them to dig in and play smart and strong.

For a bunch of returning starters against a new front 7 that avg weight was 240lbs.. I was pretty disappointed.

Even when they weren't shifting or stunting, the 250 lb defensive linemen were standing out 300+ lb linemen up. They sucked!

McShay commented on Grimes working with them on that sometime in the 3rd qtr, it appeared from that point on the holes started opening. It will be interesting to see if Porter moves back to starter at C.

Honestly was completely shocked by the lackluster line play.Obviously there needs to be a monumental improvement made the next couple of weeks before league play begins.

We were also playing our first game with a new starting center, who it seemed only go the job recently. We certainly missed a lot of blocking assignments.

The holes opened on that one series, correct? That was a buch of read option plays with Wisconsin NG out.

I didn't see much correction in back half

It was my attention to do just that. I wrote it just to annoy you.

To me that was the most disappointing unit. These guys, for the most part, are returning starters who were getting pushed around by a much smaller & inexperienced D-line. Grimes & Moffit have some work to do, they looked soft & weak at times.
