Biggest Takeaways from the game

- Please scrap the screen pass
- Dural/Diarse could be the next great WR duo
- Berate anyone who "wants to get the TEs more involved"
- Please scrap the screen pass
- Option is run fairly well by Jennings
- Ride a horse at RB when he's hot, even if it might be the result of the other team losing a few DLinement
- This secondary, even TWO corners down, is sick...arguably the best in CFB
- Welter will still not be a fan favorite, yet start all season, he gets us lined up bros
- FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE SCRAP THE SCREEN PASS
- We're ready for a QB controversy, let's DO THIS

- Keiland's calves have nothing on Gamble's leg

We had the screen set to succeed multiple times. Work on execution, don't scrap it.

i say keep the screen. it works. How about teach the qb to put touch on it and lob it to the rb. not a bullet. and DO NOT RUN THE SPEED OPTION. read option is ok. Not the speed option. taking two steps and pitching it every time like JJ did doesnt work. you have to press the line of scrimmage and make the ends commit.

Just because Jennings couldn't make the throw doesn't mean you abandon it.
That play was there all night if he throws it better.

From the sound of it we worked on it heavily all fall, and we couldnt complete even 1 of 3 attempts...with 2 of 3 being not even in the neighborhood

There's nothing wrong with the screen. The team needs to execute it better, It would have worked every time if it was executed it better.

We've got to get better at the screen pass and throwing to the TEs. We did it terrible tonight, but for the kind of team/offense this is gonna be, those have to be parts of our offense.
I totally agree with the sticking with a running back, though. It is the 2nd position behind QB where rhythm is most important. I'm thrilled we won, but I think our coaches did a terrible job go getting our offense into any kind of rhythm.

We can run the ball effectively out of 3 wr formations...something I've been wanting to see for years...spread the fricking defense!
