Yeah, what's the story behind that? I figured they'd be open-carry because, you know, Texas.

I'm glad I haven't seen it yet in MS.

I didn't realize it was so many.

But it's pointless, because even in a state where it's legal, there's a 99% chance you will be harassed by cops because someone will call 911. Most people don't like seeing non-cops with guns.

Yeah, Virginia has been open carry for a long time. I rarely see it here in Northern Virginia. A couple of Sundays ago I saw this nerdy guy, who looked like he had just come from Church, shopping at Wegmen's. He was dressed in a short sleeved dress shirt and tie (may have been a clip on). I was disappointed that he did not have a pocket protector with a bunch of pens in it.

He had a Glock on his hip. It made me chuckle.

I CC all the time. I really don't understand why you would want to OC, but I don't have an issue with those who do.

Are you implying that I should have been frightened that he would shoot me? I have never shot a gun, but have no problem with qualified citizens carrying one.

No, it was audible.

*You're. I think your sentence may be missing a word, slinger.

Just because of the manner of dress and having a Glock on his hip. It was like seeing a Hell's Angel blowing bubbles. It struck me as funny. I do not know about down where you live, but seeing someone open carry up here in "Liberal Land" is strange. I have a lot of friends who CC.

You can open carry a long gun in Texas, just not a handgun

I honesty wish most every one did, crime would be minimum

8 of the top 10 cities (population) are in the red states. i wonder if that's got anything to do with it.

That's kinda funny because the one time I have seen it Alabama the dork looked like he had come straight from a comic book convention. One of the biggest stereotypical nerds I have ever seen in real life.

I concealed carry, like a normal person.
