Jet-A is $7.90 at MSY (NOLA international) (only $4.90 at NEW) Large airports jack up the price.
So lets say the airline only pays $4 a gallon.
It still takes thousands of gallons to divert the plane and take off again.
So is the unruly passenger on the hook for the added fuel costs?
