Are they keeping the roof open so it can be 90 degrees on the field or is this an AC game? I would hope we would treat our Northern friends to some real Southern hot-spitality. Saw what that Florida game in the swamp did to us two years ago time to pay it forward.

Early season dome games always cause more cramping than you would think...even for LSU.

Does Florida have some sort of climate advantage that we don't enjoy here in LA that I'm not aware of? I would think we essentially practice in the same environment.

Roof is closed when temprature is above 80, per an earlier thread.

I was just about to post this. I don't understand where the OP is going with his comment on that

It was hot as hell that game, we were kicking their arse at halftime and then they killed us second half. Some of the players later admitted the heat got to them. (You can search on here) Whether than was conditioning issue or what don't ask me but it was a factor in that game.

The returning players played in Tempe in August last year and did fine. In terms of things that concern me going into this game, the temperature in the dome is not in the top 10.

No wonder you think playing Tempe during the evening is on the same level with playing in Houston or the deep south in August at any time.

No comparison.

87 degrees and about 50% humidity at kickoff. Though once inside the stadium the heat was borderline stifling. Everyone in there was soaking wet just standing there.

But, it's sounding like the roof is going to be closed and the temps are looking like low 80s and a 30% chance of rain. So basically a non-factor.

It's humid as hell up here in summer, and since the weather looks like it'll be in the 80s that won't be a big deal at all.

Jesus Christ some of you people are unreal. No, the roof will not be open.

And if it were it would probably be around 110 degrees on the surface of the field.

They make retractable roofs for the fans, not the players. They want the fans to be comfortable so they want to come back.
