used to be a lot of places around there for Six Flags. Then the assholes decided to close that down and put up a parking lot.

what are you looking to pay??

If you just want a room I see that the America's Best Value Inn and the Medical Center Inn and Suites both in walking distance to the game have rooms for around $60. The only other stadium in walking distance with rooms is the Crowne Plaza at $170 a night.

Downtown you are looking at around $200 for nice places this weekend. Many have vacancies though.

oh.

To stay close to the action, that Crowne Plaza is nice. If they want to away from Downtown my go to was always the Nassau Bay Hilton.
I rode out Katrina in a suite there.

We stayed in the Hyatt Place during the Cotton Bowl. It was nice and a 3 minute drive to the stadium.
