Bought it from a dude on Facebook for $100. Old Stevens Model 62. But it has a dovetail rail. How the frick can I mount a scope on this thing?

And is there anywhere I can buy ammo that doesn't charge $20 shipping on $30 worth of ammo?

I believe that is 3/8's inch "weaver style"... look at airgun scope mounts.

Nice little rifle. I probably overpaid and the dude had never cleaned the thing in his life. I had to wipe off surface rust. I really want to disassemble it

Nope. Just the 3/8" weaver mounts. I would put a rimfire scope on it.

I believe my CZ has similar rails. I got the mounts from an airgun website, but can't remember the name

yeah they seem to be getting back in stock, but typically just boxes of 50, maybe 100 if you are lucky.

I'll call them before I go. It's an hour drive to Academy for me.

you got yer dang answer, junior senior! put some old cheap rings and a tasco on that piece of shite, drive an hour to academy, buy a box of Aguilar messacun boolits, shoot half of em, take half empty box back to academy and demand your money back!!!

tell mgr at academy that you couldn't get messacun boolits to work.
