For a first-time visitor to BR and Tiger Stadium for a game, what are good Hotel recommendations??? Maybe one that provides some kind of shuttle to and from the game?

L'auberge Hotel?
Hyatt?
Lod Cook?

Faculty Club

It's right next to the parade grounds.

Stay downtown at the Hilton or Indigo. They run shuttles from downtown to the stadium on gamedays.

They provide a shuttle to and from the game. I took it every home game last year, with no problems except for the UF game. Took about an hour and a half to get to the dropoff that day. Overall, good expereience. Never stayed in the hotel, but I'm sure it's nice. And the casino is fun

Lod Cook is most convenient. L'auberge may be most fun.

A downtown hotel would be good if they want to go to 3rd street after the game.

Depends on the game. If you're trying to go for Bama then you're probably going to be staying at least 15 minutes from campus because most of the close ones are already booked up.

Staybridge usually gets booked up fast for SEC games, but it is a quick walk away so if you can get in then it's a solid choice and usually not as expensive as Lod Cook.

This late in the year, you arent finding anything close.

I booked the Staybridge 8 months early and they were almost full last season for the Florida game.

I always go for the Hilton downtown. Its an easy shot down River Rd and you can walk around downtown without driving drunk.

2nd choice is any of the hotels up off College Drive and Corporate. Lots of restaurants right there, but will take you a little longer to get to campus.

Staybridge or Lod Cook if you just want to wake up and walk to the tailgate.

People that stay downtown rave about it. Easy access to campus and walking distance to bars and restaurants.

Unless you want nothing but campus all weekend, it's the best choice by far. Hilton, casinos, whatever. Just stay downtown and have a great trip.
