In general, why do people choose one or the other?

Or is Fantasy just another form of betting?

Fantasy is a form of betting. You're betting on certain players to do good with the possibility of a payout at the end of the season.

I don't like betting on individual NFL games but I love me some fantasy.

I just started to dabble in the daily fantasy sports world.

I think short term, yeah it's more like betting. Long term the people that have success are the ones who can consistently find value in players to fill out their rosters.

The thing that differentiates it from something like professional betting is that you're not competing against the house, so no odds or point spreads. You're competing against others in your league. More informed players are going to do better against someone that's just doing it for fun.

It's tough to do both.

You're betting on one team, and pulling for a guy on the other to do well.
