It's not very long. Just takes about 5 minutes for each.

nothing shocking here. good interview and overview of all of the positions. main concerns are QB and DT...Secondary and OLine are the strength along with RB.

Key to defense will be Rasco and Hunter getting edge pressure.

Key to offense is avoiding major mental mistakes by QBs

What does the rant think of Mike Dettilier? He is obviously knowledgeable, but he couldn't have been more off in his interview before the Bama game last year. Said we were built to beat them, would match up physically, etc.

I agree with you on this; however, once the ball is in play, it's in play. I think that Mike is very knowledgeable, but I do not take his nor any others predictions too seriously.....

He wrote an article a few years ago about how LSU and Miles suck at developing talent for the NFL. It was a bullshite hatchet job IMO.

In his defense, if Copeland doesn't fumble on the 1 yard line then the whole game changes.

TL;DR version:

Concern is the DT position...this will be the toughest 1st game ever for Miles.

Too many unknowns going into the season...score prediction is 24-20 LSU with a late defensive/ST big play.

Jamal Adams is the Leonard Fournette of the Defense.

He's solid, and I wouldn't hold that comment against him. We were tied with them 17-17 midway through the 3rd quarter, and who knows how the game would have played out had Copeland not fumbled at the one yard line on the game's opening drive. Our running game was on point during that drive, and a 7-0 start on our first possession could have gone a long way in terms of momentum.
