For person to person it's not, but buying stuff off online retailers is fine

Should i just stick with pay pal and my cap one credit cards? Cap One has always been great to me and their fraud detection system is top notch

If you're doing person to person transactions then stick with PayPal. If you're buying off of amazon or places like that then use Google wallet
