broke a $$$ rod

i broke a high-$ castaway this weekend - SLX-3 series spinning rod. it has been accidentally modified from 7' to 6'-9-3/8". new tip or put it on the wall with a pic of the a-hole that broke it?

i bring everything back there, they take ANYTHING back. Even forgot to take off the little tabs for the date on the last battery i bought...
