It came amid a new round of violence in the Gaza conflict, including the death of a 4-year-old Israeli child on a kibbutz from a Hamas rocket and the execution of 18 suspected Israeli collaborators by masked Hamas gunmen. On Saturday, Israeli aircraft demolished a 12-story apartment building, sending a huge fireball into the sky and wounding 22 people, including 11 children.

you know V&S, this is a word that used to have some shock effect- a little punch behind it.
now its thrown around so much that it barely registers in the mind. It's the same for the word 'racist'.

If Israel wanted a Holocaust, they'd have one. This is no Holocaust, trust me, they'd know.

Why would the global elite need to bribe anybody?? Couldn't they just make one call and get the results they wanted ??

Maybe they should tell Israel it is ceasing bombing and will recognize Israel's right to exist securely if Israel recognizes their right to run gaza

That's a nonstarter for Bibi, you know that. No Likud government will ever willingly allow them to control their own airspace and territorial waters. Having said that, I will say that Hamas' leadership hasn't always served them well. Whenever Bibi tries to bait them, they always take the bait rather than waiting to respond at a time and place of their choosing.
Overall, Meshaal has been a terrible leader, especially compared to Hezbollah's Hassan Nasrallah, who hardly ever missteps. Hamas used to have the support of Egypt and Saudi Arabia and had its headquarters in Jordan. As as matter of fact, Jordan's King Hussein literally saved Meshaal's life when Netanyahu sent some Mossad goons into Jordan to assassinate him. Then after pissing off the Jordanians, he had to move his headquarters to Damascus. but after refusing to support Assad during the Arab Spring, Hamas got run out of Damascus and had to move its headquarters to Qatar. Meanwhile, for financial and military support, Hamas got cut off from the Egyptians and the Saudis for insubordination and had to run to the Iranians. But when they balked at Tehran's order to aid Assad, they went running back to Egypt right about the time that Morsi was coming to power, with his blind-eye policy regarding the Rafah Crossing at the Egyptian-Gaza border, and for a brief time life couldn't be better. Then their worst nightmare was realized when General Al-Sisi orchestrated a coup against Morsi. Now all they're left with is Turkey and Qatar for support, after burning their bridges with everyone else in the region.
