it will be tough on you for the next year as you go through all of the holidays and seasons for the first time without him...

Prayers and thoughts sent your way, Sig. Sometimes you get a warning and sometimes you don't. I was lucky. I got a warning. Listen to Sig's advice. Be aware of the signs and get yourself checked.

Recently had a heart cath because of chest pains.
When the crab claw is inside your chest pinching down on your heart, it aint no fun.
Turned out I was better off than I thought.
Maybe I will be able to see my granddaughters get married after all.

Sorry about your cousin, Sig.
May Eternal Light shine upon him.

Exactly why I love the OB. Everyone here is genuine and willing to help another dude out.

Best of luck to you and your family putting the loss behind you. Remember the best qualities he had and try to carry those with you. It's the perfect way to honor his passing.

I am somewhat hesitant to post a link to the charity set up for the wife and daughter but also know how well the OB does in these types of situations. I'm only hesitant because of names etc.

Sig, I dont know you but was also at the funeral. Should I post the link?

Man this hits home really hard. I lost my cousin in 2012 from the same thing. She was only 36. She was having chest pains and the doctors thought it was ulcers so they removed her gallbladder. A few days later she collapsed and passed away. Come to find out the chest pains were mini heart attacks. frick I just cried typing this. Stay strong man

Very sorry about your loss. My wife was trying to get us both signed up for this preventative health screen thing that checks for all sorts of stuff like that. I initially declined, but I think I'll go get it done.

Prayers for your family.

First time that crap freaked me out and I blocked out from it. Third and fourth time was a cat walk. Still yet to find any blockage. Just a dead left side of the heart.

OP, sorry to hear. Prays sent.
