John Williams 2016 wr

Playing along side two division 1 receivers in Kirk Merritt and Alfred Smith, this kid really held his own. He's a smooth receiver suited for the slot at the next level. Just another stud athlete out of Destrehan.

I know there are a ton of wr prospects out of LA, but Williams was one of the most productive young receivers in the metro area of New Orleans. He's one to watch.

Seriously?

BTW - they are stacked from what I hear. Several D-1 prospects.

There are always guys coming out of Destrehan with D1 talent. 2017 qb prospect Marquise Darensbourg will start. He threw a 31 yard touchdown to Merritt and a 70 yard td to Williams in their scrimmage.

From Nola, on I10...Metairie is followed by Kenner. The next exit, I310 takes you through St. Rose and to Destrehan, and then the west bank of St. Charles and Hahnville. Destrehan is 20 minutes from downtown Nola.
Yes they are loaded with talent again!

One could argue that the river parishes are the most fertile recruiting area in the state.

The river parishes are definitely near the top if not the top.

I have seen the kid in person at a camp. Kid is real real nice.

He is not 5'10.

He and alfred smith are listed 5'10". I don't believe either.

He is a good wr. He has great hands and really understands the position. He's good about sitting in the openings in the zone d and he burns one on one coverage over the middle.

I consider Destrehan a suburb of New Orleans. It is just a few miles from the airport.
