Crescent Pie is closing.

I really enjoyed their pizzas and homemade sausage.

Clearly, their positioning themselves for the new hospital which is smart business.
I'm disappointed as they were one of the few pizzerias that were a good and had non-traditional toppings.
I understand getting out of the pizza market, it's crowded with several real contenders.

If they deliver and have healthy options, they'll be golden.

Damn that sucks. Granted, I've only been a handful of times, but I always enjoyed it.

Yeah, probably a cash cow. I just don't see myself heading to midcity for a sitdown lunch joint. I doubt they will miss my money though.

Once the new hospital opens up, a lunch time and catering place should do well.

I feel like a meat and 3 place would also do well around the hospital.

Shoot, almost anything will do well. The options are so slim right now and will be when it opens that whatever is open will be busy. If I had investing money, I'd open a decent bar nearby. Medical people love to unwind.

RIP Nicks

Yea I agree though.

I eat an Anita's on the corner of galvez and tulane. It's just typical diner fare with pretty good poboys but I'm looking forward to more options. Their property value is probably 10x the value of the business.

My only claim to fame related to this story is that I graduated from High School with Bell.

He was a cool cat.
