If you could start a "thing" for your street, would you?

I'm thinking of having a showing of Rocky Horror in my backyard and inviting the street. Bring your lawn chair, your cooler. The (large) pit is fired up to cook your meat. I will buy three bottles of vodka and prepare the best mixed drink you ever had...if you came without your favorite beer.
Would you come? Would you host the next one?

I call it now.
Two weeks before Halloween. Friday, unless it rains then Saturday. If both have rain, its over.
Street parties all over Baton Rouge...and wherever you're at. All of us chilling and being stupid over RHPS.
Gearing up for Halloween Weekend. Family oriented though. I think it could be good arse fun.

What is your backyard:street ratio? My entire street would never fit in my yard. :inb4OTpoor:
Also, do you think "Rocky Horror" is most people's cup of tea? I have zero interest in seeing something like that. Choose a comedy that everyone likes and that's family friendly, so people can bring their kids.

Goonies would be a good one. Parents like it because it's nostalgic and it's a kid movie.
Even something like Groundhog Day or Tommy Boy would work.
