ATLANTA (AP) — Calling it a "miraculous day," an American doctor infected with Ebola left his isolation unit and warmly hugged his doctors and nurses on Thursday, showing the world that he poses no public health threat one month after getting sick with the virus.

Dr. Kent Brantly and his fellow medical missionary, Nancy Writebol, who was quietly discharged two days earlier, are still weak but should recover completely, and no one need fear being in contact with them, said Dr. Bruce Ribner, who runs the infectious disease unit at Emory University Hospital.

Don't worry guys, our government knows what to do that's best for us all. They can't possibly screw this up, RIGHT?

Well if you read the article...it says their tests are negative for ebola now and that once you recover you are not contagious.

Also said that the doctors learned quite a lot about treating Ebola while caring for those two. Information they can give to doctors in Africa. This is a good thing

So everyone he comes in contact with will now contract the strain of the virus for which there is no cure.

That's how it happens.

And next thing you know, there will be walkers amongst us.
