This is weird. I almost made this thread earlier...(but I didn't). But my twist was...
Win ugly as frick the whole year and squeak out a NC with a loss along the way
Or
Pummel and destroy every team on the schedule but lose the NC.
I chose option B simply because the ride would be so much damn fun.
The destination of winning a NC during a miserable season would. Just be a foot note. And also be miserable all year.
Not about the destination but the journey IMO.

And yours is wrong. Winning a title is never a footnote to the season. The season is a footnote to winning the title. How many non LSU fans remember that LSU went 13-0 and won the SEC in 2011?
