Running a GeForce GT 650M video card in my laptop, is this decent?

Bought the Asus laptop a little over 7 months ago and it came with this video card. Reason I bought the laptop is it is running a 3 gen I7 with 8 G of ram, Windows 7, and Blue Ray for around $375. Not a gamer so I don't know what is good or bad in video cards. I do know however it is not a great card, but would this be serviceable is I wanted to get into gaming?

Well, gaming performance aside, that's a great price for those specs.
The GT 650M, as you indicated, is pretty bottom of the barrel, even by mobile GPU standards. It will run modern games at low res and low settings. I mean, you can play games on it. It's serviceable. What's the native resolution of the screen?
