The allure seems ridiculously easy to install but I was leaning towards pergo.

Roughly 12x12 room.

Any thoughts or suggestions on flooring? I don't want carpet.

Go to lumber liquidators, they'll let you bring home samples...when you're ready to buy you can haggle the price with them

We pulled up our carpet in the nursery and it was beautiful hardwood underneath. I will never understand the fad of putting shitty carpet all over these awesome hardwood floors.

ETA: This helps you absolutely none. What are you working with underneath?

Make sure your concrete (if you have concrete) is level before buying anything. I bought floating wood to install and when I pulled my carpet, we realized how uneven the floor was. Fixed it as best I could with self leveling concrete mix (not cheap). Still had a lot of clacking after I put the floor down. Doubled the cost to get the floor leveled. Pull your carpet, see what your working with, then make the decision.

We did porcilean tile and love it. Easy to keep clean and very durable. LINK /

I'm doing the same thing. Looked at pergo but then found a ez click hardwood I liked at lowes then found a coupon online to take 10% off the price. Ended up at 3.50 sq ft.
