Trade, Release, DFA Khris Karter! Dude sucks! Get him out or the lineup! Oh wait, he's figured it out....all hail chris carter, king of Astros Country.

Do I have the sentiment of this board down?

Glad to see Carter become productive. That added to the return of Dexter Fowler has given the lineup a little more oomph. Now if we could just get Castro untracked . . .

Only if we're sacrificing live chickens before the game, I'm fine with him.

Nah, I wouldn't buy CVS brand.

I guess everyone forgets how young he really is, all these players to be honest. Pisses me off seeing everyone down on them so fast.

Well Carter wasn't exactly unworthy of the vitriol thrown his way. As a low average DH, his only redeeming quality is his power. Through 70 something games guy was hitting .184 with 13 homers. After a full season and then some in the majors. That's unacceptable and its a good thing he turned it on because if he continued at the previous pace, he probably wouldn't have had a job much longer. He could hit .100 the rest of the season and be safe into next year at this point but its nice to see what he can be capable of...finally.
