Listening to XM and he's "taking the wheel" and playing songs from his new album. Before he plays one song, he says "this is just a really heartfelt, honest and true song. I think country music needs more songs like this..."

What is the song?

Look At My Truck

Yep. Country music definitely needs more songs about trucks.

Paging Wade Bowen...

I didn't know who he was. Clicked the link, listened to a garbage song, and looked a the photo of him with his chain around his neck and his backwards hat.

I wish these guys would take a tour to wherever ISIS is.

that's the lengths of their songwriting depth (if they even wrote the song they are singing)

-trucks
-creeks
-fields
-tailgates
-jeans
-drinking 'shine
-drinking 'shine on a tailgate
-drinking beer on a tailgate
-"getting it on"

etc... mainstream nashville pop is souless, evil, and vapid. It's corporatized music for shallow low hanging fruit type of people.

Does truck = dick? If so, could make for an interesting tune.

country needs to just go away at this point. there's a lot of great stuff from back in the day but i haven't ever heard a decent country song that was recorded in the last 30 years.
