not really. the times are changing for Atlanta sports. The braves are going to sell out the Cobb stadium consistently, as are the falcons in the new stadium

The barves will fill their new stadium with people from Marietta for a few years, but in the long term it's going to hurt fan support.

I don't really see how. There is no expansion whatsoever of Braves fans below I-20. Newnan and PTC have hit their peak, Fayetteville is past its peak.

I assume you think the harm will come from in town support, but to the biggest support centers in Midtown/Buckhead/Brookhaven/West Midtown, going to Turner probably never felt very much "in town" and shooting up 75 won't be any more of a hassle.

A little deceiving. From what I understand you can pay your deposit to reserve the right but can back out at any time and receive that money back.

I hope it ends up being a smashing success but I don't know how much stock I'd put into those numbers.

I think the harm will come in the form of damaging the brand.

$50 deposits and you can purchase up to 8 seats. We are still a couple years away so hopefully those numbers keep going up.

I'm personally holding out on picking an MLS club to support until their team gets started, unless something closer to Memphis pops up in that time frame.
