I remember reading Anderson looked to be A&M bound, while Eric Monroe seemed to be leaning our way. I would be happy with either. Or both.

I remember a North Shore Alum came on here and stated that (that NS staff were LSU grads) not long ago when the Long and Monroe topic came up. Would love to land both Long and Monroe from NS. That place has been a pipeline for D1 talent, though most have gone to UT in the past.

I think Sumlin is a good coach, I do. But I also think recruiting at a high level is new to him and he is following the Lane Kiffin at TN and USC approach which is: Be Cool, Promise Anything and Everything, and hope to hell it works out. That works really well for a year or two, then the chickens come home to roost. We are DBU and that ain't changing.

Hahaha About 4 or 5 years ago, I would have been concerned with North Shore kids visiting UT, but if they are going for the UNT game, I'm not worried. It used to be a UT feeder school but lately a lot of people have busted that up.
