i actually think there won't be nearly as much resistance. with jerseys that is the ultimate symbol of a fan's team. The court is the court and will go back to being the court as soon as the timeout is over. You can also show replays and things like that. Not to mention the practice benefits that the video showed. Or think of how cool the player intros will be with these things.
They will be in every area sooner or later, mark my words.
