Patching holes in neoprene

So I got some light weight waders at the beginning of last season and got what I paid for. I ended up getting the Academy brand bc I figured I wouldnt be using them that much and neglected to notice that the boot part had neoprene on it. I have tried using the patched for my other heavy waders with little luck so I am thinking of using the patches or some epoxy then covering the whole neoprene in JB Weld or something similar. Just so its clear the waders are a light weight canvas material, the neoprene is on the actual boot part that is usually all rubber on the outside.

Are they stocking feet? I'm confused.

No they are rubber on the foot but the sides like the ankle area up to mid shin are neoprene.

From my experience the seam between neoprene and boot is the toughest.
If you have just a hole or cracks you can patch it. Buy the expensive glue and follow the directions. I would patch inside and out. I know the dive shops I've sent stuff to use the glue and a heat seal type thing if possible for the repair.

honestly, I would cut my losses and throw that shite in the trash...neoprene is not nearly durable enough for a wader boot and you are gonna just end up with a wet foot every time you go out...

Lol, that shite Is the solve all. Just don't try to remove it. It's there forever. They make a release, but doesn't work well.
