Rafting trips in Colorado

Looking to start planning a trip for next year. From what I gather it needs to be done pretty far in advance. Was looking online, but there are so many. Anyone have a good one they've used. Don't want a pampered trip, but also realize we probably can't do the damn thing on our own. Thanks

We went with this company last year, PERFORMANCE TOURS
The boat guide we had said The Numbers is very good and could do it every day and not get board. We had young kids and had to choose something calmer. Still had a great time.

How many options are there for long trips like that?

Royal Gorge trip is the best I've been on.
Class IV and V rapids, 1000 ft canyon, old mining stuff still left down there.
River Runners out of Canon City

I just got back from a 3 day trip with AVA. LINK
The guide got on my nerves a bit by the end, but other than that, it was a fun trip. They take care of everything with food, tents, etc. You travel about 34 miles of river.
The first two days are relatively calm, somewhat boring from a rafting standpoint. But the views were cool.
The last day, we hit Pine Creek which is the class 5 rapid. Water level was little low, but still really fun.
I will tell you, 3 days rafting is a long time. I don't think I could do 7.
Make sure to ask them when the best times are to raft certain rapids before you schedule.
If you want to do a long trip, I hear the grand canyon is the place to go.

A fun trip would be from near the border of Colorado to Moab area. Westwater is a fun section within that stretch but its typically done as an overnighter. Beautiful area with some whitewater and a lot of beer drinking opportunities.
You could find several rafting companies that would guide you through the upper arkansas. That could easily be 5 days worth. Starting south of Twin Lakes and ending in Salida. The Numbers, Fractions, and Browns Canyon are extremely popular sections of that stretch with great whitewater. You want to do that section earlier summer so the water isnt too high but still high enough.
You could also find someone to run lower Arkansas from Salida to Canon City. The highlights there are Parkdale and The Royal Gorge. That could take 2-3 if you wanted it to.
