I've been DVR'ing the replay of season one (they supposedly show one episode every Thursday in the order they originally aired) We watched the latest two last night but there was a huge gap in the story and I was hoping someone could fill in that gap. The first one was where they complete The Harvest and hot young witch has her throat cut and black witch is revealed to be old dead black witch. The 2nd and supposedly the next episode in order has hot witch back alive, the original vamps trapped in a cemetery fighting each other because of some betrayal, blonde vamp leaves NOLA, and old/young black witch is supposedly dead now. WTF happened in between????

We don't watch Vampire Diaries but my wife saw a commercial for The Originals and thought it looked interesting so we started recording the re-air of the 1st season. It's not that bad and their depiction of NOLA is not as whack-a-do as many other shows.

Well I asked and she said she hasn't seen the two most recent episodes yet. She's been on a Pretty Little Liars kick and hasn't watched much else the last two weeks.

I think this show utilizes New Orleans as a backdrop better than any other show or movie that I can think of. And it may have a better collection of hot chicks than any other cast on tv.

There is a plethora of 8.5's and up on that show. The werewolf chick makes my pants tight.

eta: Since you watch the show answer my damn question in the OP.

I watch this and I think you're missing at least two episodes. Have you seen the black male witch yet?

Only at the very end of The Harvest episode where him and the two chicks get resurrected and meet up with the young black witch that is really the old dead black witch that the vamp used to bang.

It's odd they had been going in perfect order then a huge gap between last Thursday and this Thursday.

Ok basically the black dude witch came back with the sole purpose of channeling a bunch of dead witch's powers into that bone dagger. It can't kill an original but immobilizes them, similar to the daggers, but it also causes them extremely severe pain the entire time they are immobilized. Klaus was stabbed with it and tortured.

While he was being tortured the hot red head witch showed him how she helped Rebecca and Marcell locate Michael and bring him to Nola bc they wanted to be together and Klaus wouldn't let them. It's actually a pretty cool episode that shows the events of the originals time in new Orleans in the early 1900s. But that's why Klaus is trying to kill Rebecca in that graveyard.

The show is actually really good.

Worth the watch if you want to spend some time with the SO on the couch. Bunch of hotties running around.

Def some feels moments in the show.

Give me immortality and Rebecca any day of the week.

VD is actually a very decent show.

Tons of OT 8s and a solid plot with usually good villans.

Some may think it's a chick show but there's a lot of action and it doesn't beat you over the head with romance like some others(though it's there I know)

Also damon is cool as shite

I started watching it, but then I got sidetracked. I have 10 episodes sitting on my DVR right now. And the show had so many plot changes, I don't remember anything from the ones I did watch.
