It is hard, despite great recruiting, for the roster of a college football team to stay good across the position areas.

With effectively a rookie/young QB in 2014, we should expect some bumps in the road, but we have a stellar OL.

In 2015, we should have a better situation with a Jr and So QB, who both will likely have game experience, but the 2014 expected OL lineup shows the potential to lose 4 of 5 starter.

Which brings me to 2 questions, since the rest of the roster in 2015 seems to be on target to be strong across the roster.

Q1) Will Vadal Alexander depart early for the draft?

Q2) Which OLinemen can step in and provide quality depth in 2014 to aid us from having the OL be our weak link in the 2015 team which otherwise seems to be poised to "be the year"?

Great question. I'm going to assume Hawkins stays, and that we lose LT, LG (Vadal), C, RG (and backup).

Hawkins moves to LT and, with Pocic at RT, you're strong at tackle. Clapp has moved to center, and he's been showing well. We picked up that juco tackle/guard Domond. He, Brumfield, Dodd, Malone and Boutte will have to step up.

I see a lot of talent there, and most of those guys will have three years in the program by that time. So, not as settled as this year's oline, but it could be a good one.

From all accounts that I have seen Coach Grimes is on the job I have faith in him developing a quality oline with the young talent we already have
