With only 4 days remaining until the primary, Miller's opponents, Mead Treadwell and Dan Sullivan, upon hearing the news and realizing they each had dodged a bullet, high-fived and broke out a six-pack.

I'm trying to remember if she officially backed him when he beat Murkowski in the GOP primary a few years back.
I think she stayed out of that one given the history between herself and Murkowski's dad, whom she beat to become Governor.

It's worthless. Miller has no chance.
Begich will lose to either Treadwell or Sullivan though. Most likely Sullivan, he's put 100% effort into this thing.

Yeah, he's really playing up his ties to Condoleezza Rice. He's also the former Commish. of DNR in Ak and forerm Atty. General. I think he's the next Senator.
Treadwell is probably the most qualified, but is kind of socially awkward. I've met both a quite a few times and both er genuinely nice people.
Begich has strong Alaska ties, his father disappeared with Louisiana Rep. Boggs in a plane from Anchorage to Juneau, and he's former Mayor of Anchorage. He also never graduated college. Didn't know that til he came to our place of business a month ago.
