Did they change the drops with the expansion. I got 2 legendary drops in a short time earlier.

It's possible, because I've gotten a lot more in the short amount of time that the DLC has been out compared to before.

For those who get Husk of the Pit, the best way to upgrade it is by going to that first mission on the moon where all of the thralls come storming out of the big door. Be sure to put it on heroic for more of them. It took me roughly 425-450 kills with the weapon. Just don't kill the knight and you can continue to wipe and start over after you kill the rest of the enemies. It took me 12 wipes before I got it, all in about 20 minutes.

Nothing new with them. Only exotic emblems from Xur and class items from the Speaker. I keep thinking that they're going to become used for something else, because now Eris is giving them away as rewards, but probably not.
So, I got three Husk of the Pits within about a half hour of running bounties last night. Looks like pretty much everyone will have it like the Murmur, eventually.

The final weapon needs hard mode raid kills to unlock, so not everyone will have that one.

The Dark Beyond mission, Everyone should be using that for all sorts of bounties. It has been my go to spot for a long time now for mission, just some listed that can be done in seconds there.
Husk of the pit
fusion rifle double kills
special weapon multikill on hive
melee 7 hive in a row
Heavy weapon multikill hive
Hive Majors (earth is faster but I tend to double up missions)
Moon Tears
3 enemies with 20 supers
black wax headshots
Axion bolt Hive
