I don't find them usless at all, actually I tend to have less motes than I do strange coins at any given time.

Well, your circumstances are probably different that most. Both of mine slept 20 hours a day or so when they were newborn.

I miss everyone. It's been as lonely as can be for this guardian.
If anyone still needs to run nightfall on any of their characters, let me know. I just got my third guy to 30 and need to run it with him. I just tried soloing it, but there's just not much one can do at the very end with all of the minotaurs bearing down on you with void damage. Doesn't help that I don't have a void sniper.

I know not many of you are on when the dailies reset, but if you are, I came across a glitch that lets you do the bounties twice. Right after 3 AM, get all of the bounties from the Vanguard and Eris, go do them and turn them in, then log out and then back in on your character and go back to get the bounties again. You can only do it with one character per day, but it's a pretty nice boost. It especially helps get your Eris rank up faster.

How is that different from doing the bounties during the day then just getting the new ones the next day?

Because you get to do the same ones twice. It lets you double up on the same bounties every day, which will greatly speed up your progress with your ranks.
