Is there a program that will make all my music play at the same volume?

You know how some songs that are loud as shite and then others are really low? Isn't there a way to fix that and make them all the same?

Look up normalizing, tons of software that will do it
quote:
Audio normalization is the application of a constant amount of gain to an audio recording to bring the average or peak amplitude to a target level (the norm). Because the same amount of gain is applied across the given range, the signal-to-noise ratio and relative dynamics are generally unchanged.

I use MP3gain and it works well. Only problem is if you have non-MP3 music, in which case it doesn't do anything.

I think Platinum Notes used to do it back in the day...no idea what folks are using now.

I use MediaMonkey as my player, and it will scan your music collection and level the volume.
