Data Usage the last 3 weeks ATT mifi

so ive noticed that the last few weeks ive had extremely high data usages on my mifi from att which i use at work for email and basic web browsing. i have a 5gb plan which i have had since september of last year and up until my last billing cycle havent come close to going over. i would usually use slightly over 1 gb a week and 5 gb was plenty. now with the same browsing habits, i am burning through a gb a day, and so far today as of 12:50 pm ive been through an entire GB and i havent even been at my desk this morining. anyone else noticing higher than normal data usage lately?

Are you the only one using it? If so then perhaps you have some malware?
Are you doing anything else like streaming music? Are you leaving a web page up that now has video ads that reload on their own?

I'm literally watching my usage tick up and my laptop isn't even open and no applications are open. Wtf?

No Music I don't watch YouTube or anything on my lap top I use my phone for all that. Pretty much jus td.com and email and very seldom fb.

same here since I switched to their new plan. Many people I spoke to is having to up their data plan recently.

Weird. The family plan billing cycle for us ends on the 16th and we just got a warning that we've used 90% of our 10GB so far. We've never even gone over 7GB before and we've had it for a couple of years I believe.

my usage tracker shows almost a 1/2 gb used since i posted the OP and i have been on my phone the whole time with my laptop shut.

If you power your laptop and printer completely down, does it still show usage? If not, sounds like you've got something on your laptop that is pushing data hard in the background.

Happened to us too. Just switched plans and now data rates sky rocket with same browsing habits

Wow... Seems I've been bitching at my kids when the problem maybe AT&T ...
