8. The goodies aren't out yet and shouldn't be until week 1.

quote:

If you hear rumblings from the Aints training camp, they are all talking up their rookie WR and their new "find" at LT (Armstead), but they are worried about the middle of the O-Line. Guess where our D-line is strong?

6-6.5, with the edge being it being played in the Georgia Dome. We will be loud and crazy that first game...and the noise will intensify with every successful play defensively.

Just like every other Saints-Falcons game under the circus tent, it'll be 40-50% Saints fans, and the Who Dat chants will drown out any semblance of Rise Up.

Seriously, if you haven't had a chance to watch a Saints game in Atlanta, you're missing out. It's our home away from home.

If you're alluding to Jake Matthews, don't worry. He may be a rookie, but he is no ordinary rookie. He's already proving it.

quote:

Jake Matthews is one of the last rookies anyone would have expected to struggle in his preseason debut, but the No. 6 overall pick ended up having one of the worst performances of the first-round crop in Week 1.

quote:

The Atlanta Falcons right tackle had as many holding penalties against him—two—as the number of series he played. One of those penalties wiped out what otherwise would have been a 76-yard touchdown run by Antone Smith.

quote:

His worst struggles, however, came in run defense. He failed to generate any significant pushes and was knocked to the ground on a number of plays.

Grade: D+

He's already proving it though, guys.

but generally speaking, Brees, Manning, Rodgers and Brady WANT you to play cover, no QB wants the hounds released...so....release the effin hounds on Brees!!!

He had a 115 QB Rating last year against the blitz.

10 TDs to 1 Int

If you're alluding to Drew Brees, don't worry. He may be a quarterback, but he's no ordinary quarterback. He's already proving that.

We honestly have nothing to say until Brees is healthy again.

If he could walk, he'd come over to your work and slap you in the face.
