So last years third highest points getter in FF was...

Andy Dalton!
I don't see anyone listing him as a starter in 2014. Goes to show you can wait on a QB. Also the points difference for the year between him and the 12 ranked QB was 48.
Not sure my exact point of this but it is interesting. Maybe one of you can make a point with it.

For good reason from what I've read. His numbers are headed downward in 2014.

I agree on this, but, in the case of a QB like Dalton, if you had him, you just got lucky. He was the No. 2 QB for a team in our league, and he never started for that team except on the bye.
