Waterfowlers might want to consider buying an extra case of shells. On the heels of a record spring duck population index, high goose numbers and favorable breeding conditions, the U.S Fish and Wildlife Service recently proposed liberal hunting season lengths and bag limits for the upcoming 2014-15 waterfowl season.

“With record numbers of ducks returning to a prairie landscape covered in water, production likely was high,” said Frank Rohwer, Delta Waterfowl president. “Goose numbers continue to be strong, too. With liberalized seasons and a healthy fall flight heading their way, hunters will have ample opportunity to chase their favorite target species in the coming months.”

I sure am excited to see all these ducks they keep telling up about year after year.
I have a positive outlook on the season, I can't help it because I love duck hunting.
Here's to the 2014 waterfowl season.

No where does he say we'll actually see a duck. Just the usually optimistic smoke blowing to sell more Duck Stamps.

Not just duck stamps, but all the shite required to hunt them as well. It's a conspiracy since everyone knows that ducks really don't migrate past Missouri any more and they have to use whatever means necessary to keep hunters in AR and LA spending $$$$$$.
